Pawan K Malhotra is a seasoned executive and investor based in the Washington, DC area. He has held executive leadership positions in startups and Fortune 100 companies, as well as, being a leading equity research analyst covering financial and technology industries for a number of Wall Street firms.

From 2012 to 2017, Mr. Malhotra was a member of the Executive Leadership Team at United Health Group (UHG). Pawan held a number of executive roles at Optum, the $100B Health Services and Technology business unit of UHG. He was the COO of Optum’s Government business based in the Washington DC area and prior to that CFO of Optum’s International business covering all Optum business outside the US, including Europe, South America, Asia and Australia.

From 2005 to 2012 Mr Malhotra was COO and CFO of QSSI, a privately held health technology focused company. QSSI grew over 10x in revenues during his tenure and was managing over 1000 personnel at the time of acquisition by United Health Group. QSSI was a major prime contractor to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and was charged with implementing several key components of the U.S. health insurance marketplaces under the ACA.

Previously, Pawan was a leading equity analyst covering Financial Services, FinTech, Internet and Software at Legg Mason Wood Walker, CIBC Oppenheimer and SG Cowen. He started his career at the Treasury Department during the Banking Crisis of late 1980s.

Mr Malhotra has an M.B.A. from Georgetown University and an B.B.A. degree in Finance from The George Washington University.

Dr. Mark Leenay serves as WellCare’s executive vice president and chief medical officer. In this role, he provides vision, direction, and leadership for all clinical functions across all lines of business. He oversees all care and case management, quality and affordability initiatives, medical management, and clinical platforms. He manages all clinical programs and services in order to continuously improve members’ health outcomes and achieve clinical and system integration, while reducing overall healthcare costs.

Dr. Leenay has more than 30 years of clinical and operational experience. Prior to joining WellCare in 2016, he served as a chief medical officer and senior vice president within various divisions of Optum. In these roles, he supported clinical solutions in the U.S. and abroad overseeing clinical programs ranging from wellness to complex condition management.

Previously, Dr. Leenay served as chief medical officer for the Medicare and retirement business of UnitedHealthcare with accountability for clinical programs, medical payment policy and network relationships. Prior to joining UnitedHealthcare, Dr. Leenay directed the palliative care division at the University of Minnesota, Fairview after 10 years of community-based clinical practice.

Dr. Leenay earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Le Moyne College, a master's degree in educational psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, and a doctor of medicine degree from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He completed his residency at Overlook Hospital, at the time, an affiliate of Columbia University.

Dr. Leenay is board-certified in family medicine and geriatrics.

Suniti is a senior healthcare executive known for her excellent client service, business acumen and extensive experience in healthcare operations and technology. She has a long successful career in private and public sector working with many diverse organizations: payers, providers (all models), federal agencies and product companies, delivering desired results.

She has been a consulting leader, an operations leader, chief information officer, federal agency advisor, policy analyst and a business advisor. She led many diverse teams in strategic planning and execution, program/project implementations, business transformation, product development, and operations management.

Currently, she is serving on the Executive Board of Virginia Center for Health Innovation (VCHI). VCHI is a nonprofit convener to design a health care system that results in better health for patients, better satisfaction for providers, and better value for Virginia. She also serves on Advisory Boards of few start-ups. She co-authored a book on Medical Informatics, presented to many groups and has been a guest lecturer to several graduate programs.

Mr. Chao has over 20 years of experience as a Federal government Senior Executive leading national scale implementations of complex healthcare programs. Over the course of his esteemed career in public service formulating strategies and directing the implementation of major programs, Mr. Chao led innovative solution development efforts and delivered technical capabilities for national and state level healthcare initiatives. Mr. Chao fully embraced the role of change agent and effectively managed all facets of product and systems lifecycle to meet go-to-market strategies. As a Chief Technology Officer he established technical standards and reference architectures for the Medicare and Medicaid programs to promote greater efficiency and responsiveness to key healthcare business processes. As a CIO Mr. Chao optimized secure and efficient data sharing across Federal and State Programs through implementation of a data services hub and built from ground up, a major IT organization to support the Insurance Marketplace under the Affordable Care Act supporting one of the most significant program implementation challenges in the history of Healthcare in the US. As a recognized and trusted leader, he forged strategic relationships and formed coalitions with government and commercial organizations across the healthcare ecosystem to achieve common policy and business objectives.

Mr. Chao retired from Federal Service after a combined time from military service and public service and is currently the CTO for FEI Systems as well as serving on various advisory roles for several major organizations. Mr. Chao also has been a regular guest lecturer at Harvard Kennedy School and George Washington University speaking to graduate level students on health care and health information technology issues and challenges.

Aided in development of Prescription Drug Monitoring Program in Maryland Consultant to Welldoc, a leader in digital health care for Diabetes management, in the development of mobile chronic disease management applications, 2013 – Present.

Consultant to QSSI as a member of its physician advisory council, 2010-2012 through position on Care Excellence Team at Adventist Healthcare, play a Key Role in electronic medical records (EMR) system implementation for entire Adventist System.

CMO, Health Solutions Research, developing geospatial platform for health care data sets using open standards. The data, also termed a spatial data infrastructure, can be utilized to address multiple health care issues including maternal mortality, disaster response, opioid epidemic just to name a few.

Ram has over 30 years of experience in the IT space and more than a decade in the Health IT services. He has managed enterprise wide IT initiatives across the entire business continuum covering both federal & commercial space. He has covered Health IT initiatives both in US and international. He founded the company on the notion that Healthcare Enterprises benefit a lot from consumer empowerment.

Prior to finding Health360 Ram played the role of Chief Innovation Officer for a Small Business focused on opportunities in Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (HHS/CMS). He focused on Enterprise wide initiatives that supported Healthcare Interoperability, Identity & Access Management, Healthcare Program Integrity and Value Based Care.

Prior to that Ram was the CTO for Optum International, a division of within UnitedHealth Group, with revenues exceeding $150 billion. He was in charge of all Health IT work that included Population Health Management, Wellness offerings, Referral Management Services, Health Information Exchange, Analytics, Hospital Information Systems, integration between different care systems, Security and Privacy governance. Prior to that Ram focused on initiatives at Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)/HHS. That included Healthcare.gov (Obamacare) related systems including Marketplace, Claims & Eligibility related Analytics and Enterprise Identity & Access Management.
